MY PRACTICE

At Ultimate Attainment Speech I work with individuals from a variety of professional and linguistic backgrounds. Although I am based in London, coaching sessions are delivered online which enables me to work with both Londoners and international clients. Depending on individual goals, needs, and ambitions, I provide either long-term or short-term coaching programmes. Typical client profiles include:

Depending on individual goals, speech coaching can focus on accent reduction, effective communication, articulation / elocution / pronunciation, speech comprehensibility and intelligibility, lexical expansion, register, rhetoric, finding the right words to express ideas, gaining competence-based confidence in speech, speech accuracy and fluency, or a combination of the above elements.

The scope of speech coaching I provide therefore covers the areas of auditory and articulatory phonetics, segmental and suprasegmental phonology, voice pedagogy, lexicon, stylistics, pragmatics, applied linguistics, and communication. My expertise in those areas, combined with unyielding passion for progress, a good ear, empathy, and innovative pedagogy presents a unique environment for my clients to take their speech to the next level.

Speech coaching sessions include explicit instruction and focused training delivered in line with individual coaching programmes and training protocols I develop. Intense practice consists of specific speech tasks at different levels of complexity, exercises at word, sentence, and discourse levels, immediate feedback relating to segmental and prosodic accuracy, temporal fluency, and other relevant dimensions of speech, as appropriate.
